Parking and transport
Parking at the Whakatāne Airport is free of charge, and there are no time limits. Parking is located at the entrance to the terminal. Night security patrols the aerodrome, and CCTV surveillance operates 24/7.
You are welcome to leave your vehicle overnight; however, the gates are open from approximately 6.30am to 10pm. These times may vary slightly.
Please keep this in mind, as vehicles will be locked in outside these hours.
